Grammy Awards 2020: Billy Porter in Baja East

It’s Monday morning and we can’t think of a better way to kick things off than with Mr. Leave-Me-Alone, Billy Porter, in a salute to introversion and high-fashion.

Not only did Mr. Porter deliver like he always does, in this stunning turquoise crystal encrusted fringed jumpsuit –and yes, we did say all of those words out loud — he also served up a moment of pure red carpet theater so exquisite, we predict we may not see its better this year:

Does an automated fringe curtain that opens and closes with the press of a stylist’s button constitute high-fashion chicness? Of course not, darlings. But Mr. Porter is often less about serving you elegant looks and more about serving you high drama. And on this night, when drama reigns supreme, he managed to best all others.
