For real, though. We hate to be essentialist about this sort of thing, but damn, is it hard not to see the Anthropologie Christmas tree skirt once you get to the hem of this thing. Did we really need that strip of red velvet, Gucci? That deal-breaker (to us) aside, do we all like this? Yesterday we said she does well with looks that provide drama and silhouette; that play into her tall and lean frame. This … sort of does that. We like the sweep and the drama. Love the green and the crystals and the strong black belt, which gives it some edge. Not so much on the sleeves, though. And like we said, that contrasting hem is impossible for us to get past. You make the call on this one:
