We gave you a glimpse of Andrew Rannells’ studly 1970 fashion queen and Tuc Watkins’ buttoned-down hotness, but here’s the biggest drama queen of them all, Jim Parsons in costume as Michael, bitter drama queen supreme, in Ryan Murphy’s remake of the queer theater classic The Boys in the Band:
That is some super-gay Thurston Howell realness. He looks like he’s guest-starring on The Odd Couple. The costumes have been slaying us so far, both in their period accuracy and in how correct and perfect they are for each character. Personally, we’d like to never see this particular look come back in style. A double-breasted jacket with contrasting pants will never look anything but fussy and elderly to our eyes. Add an ascot and you may as well ask if they’ll throw in a coffin for half-price.
