It’s TACK-O-RAMA time, darlings! Otherwise known as “amateur talent game show red carpet event,” which is a thing with a surprisingly long history, an extensive roster of players (Shoutout to Heidi Klum!), and a well-established tradition of hostesses trying to outdo each other in the “retired Vegas showgirl” drag (Shoutout to Heidi Klum!).
Ladies of the carpet, let’s see what you’ve got for us this week.

This is kind of fun in a Donna Summer sort of way, but it doesn’t exactly photograph like … something made of high quality materials, let’s say. Satin’s always going to look cheap to us on a red carpet, largely because of the flash lighting, which is the main reason why we don’t understand its ubiquity on the R.C. of late. People, it doesn’t look good in this setting. Especially in such a bright color. Also, that neckline is a bit awkward, both too broad and too blunt at the bottom.
Was it a Studio 54-themed night for the show? We’re asking? Because these gals definitely got their disco on. This is simple to the point of basic, but a dancer’s poise (and legs) is all a gal needs to make a classic sequined minidress look great. She’s got a knack for working disco-era styles. She should do it more often.
