If for no other reason their distinctly rendered and highly photogenic promotional styles, casting these two in a series was a savvy idea. You’re always going to be able to rely on them to show up for the poledance in something worth looking at and discussing.

These two looks together have the feel of being coordinated without looking coordinated. Jessica’s outfit is just a bit too matchy and Barbie-like for our tastes, but we really love how it comes together; especially the shape of the skirt and blouse. The hoops make a great sassy touch. It’s probably the bag-and-show combo that makes it come off a bit precious for us, but there’s no denying it’s sharp and smart. Gabrielle’s on a slightly more showy, more formal vibe, which tends to be her way, just as Jessica’s style tends to be a bit breezy and mommy-blogger in tone. We love her look – especially the headband, which is a lot of fun and comes damn close to being a tiara – but if we had to come up with a critique (and of course we do), we’d say the headband, polka dots and feather skirt in combo are doing a whole lot of extra work. We wouldn’t mind a slight edit. Lose the polka dots.
