Cathy Cambridge in Catherine Walker at the Order of the Garter Service

Posted on June 17, 2019

Mrs. Cathy gets all crisply official-looking once again. It’s not a new look, but she does manage a slight variation on the signature Cambridge look.

Sure, it’s another Catherine Walker Coatdress, but the ivory color and the black lace trim are at least a little bit of a changeup to the usual Cambridge getup. She looks great. Like we keep saying, she’s taking the long view with her royal fashion, working a well-established look she’ll carry all the way into her senior years without a problem. We don’t think she’s doing this on anyone’s orders. If we did, we might have more of an issue with it. But this appears to be her considered take on her own image; regal, unruffled and unchanging. Just like her grandmother-in-law.
