Youth and beauty, darlings! Youth and beauty making seriously questionable style decisions. We’re just saying. Don’t be too distracted by the stellar bone structure on display. You’re going to have to prepare yourself for that most unfortunate of red carpet occurrences: the inappropriate jeans.
We’ll start with him because this is actually quite easy to sum up: A pair of black jeans with dress shoes and a sports coat will always read middle-aged at the very least. It’s an absolutely awful look on someone this young – and a complete waste of an opportunity because this guy could work a million different looks more modern and well-suited to him.
She is wearing jeans with a dress. We’re not as opposed to pants with dresses as we once were, but the mismatch here is too hard to get past. The textiles are too different and the style of dress, with its demure hem length and huge flounce thingy, just doesn’t work well with this sort of styling choice. It’s a shame, because from the knees up, she looks fantastic.
