A couple of wild-ass prints and a could of LBDs with twists. That’s all you’re gonna get on the Veep red carpet, darlings.

That is a whole hell of a lot. This is purely a personal taste thing but, much as we love a wild colorful print, we aren’t loving the color story here, which comes off a little harsh. And the sleeves certainly didn’t need that ruffle. We appreciate the boldness of the choice, but we just don’t love this dress.

It’s hard to get a silhouette like this one wrong. It’s nice, but the black-and-navy color scheme is a bit dreary.

Honestly, what is even going on here?

That print is hideous, but it’s made much worse by the fact that she decided to leave the lower half of the blouse unbuttoned. You got yourself a pedi, picked out a cute purse and opted for mega earrings, but you’re walking around like you don’t give a shit about your outfit? We don’t buy it. We never did.

The dress is a bit snug on her and perhaps a bit too plain for a red carpet, but it’s got that one visually interesting feature to it and it has an overall vibe of modernity to it that really works for her. She ruined it with the shoe choice, though.
