Yes, it looks like wallpaper in an airport lounge restroom circa 1977. Yes, the pants are way too long. Yes, the white undershirt is a terrible choice to go with it. So stipulated. All of it.

BUT

Your man is standing there in a Dries Van Noten print suit like it’s no big thing. We have to respect the choice. Which isn’t hard for us because we actually love the suit. The styling is atrocious but, well… that’s a theater event red carpet for you. You’re not supposed to show up looking flawless and you’re definitely not supposed to show up looking Hollywood. We’d have rec’d kicks and a darker tee with a better fit.
