Between yesterday’s D&G and this Gucci, it appears Mrs. Cathy has embarked on a whirlwind tour of racist Italian designers! Not that we’re trying to start anything here, especially since many of the recent PR disasters befalling Italian design houses were more likely to have been reported by the American press. Even so, we can practically guarantee if Meghan did this there’d be headlines about it.
ANYWAY.
It’s pretty and surprisingly fresh. She doesn’t go for pales and pastels all that often but she must’ve been feeling her romance because it’s all over this look, from the soft pinks to the velvets and pleats and sheers, it’s pretty and fussy in a way that’s different from her norm. Having said that, the design of that bodice and bust looks way too binding and bandage-like.
