Camila Mendes has been slaying it to a surprising level on the press junket for Master of the Universe and we love when a star realizes she’s got a spotlight opportunity and just runs with it. Unfortunately, her winning style streak ended with the flimsy, floaty getup she wore to the Today show.
What’s interesting here is that the garments aren’t all that great, but the styling is pretty fantastic. Love the bangles and the sandals. The bag’s pretty sweet too. As for the outfit, we get that the flimsiness is the point, as are the button gaps — and maybe all of that would work better in a darker or richer color, but this off-white does nothing for her and it tends to make the pieces look a little cheap. Can’t say we’re loving the collar or sleeves designs all that much, either.
