Style File: Sarah Paulson in Valentino and Michael Kors Collection

Posted on January 18, 2019

Miss Sarah continues to slay in big and bold ways. She’s one of the people we cited in today’s podcast on the topic of how the red carpet has become much more diverse in style and players. Even though both of these looks are bolder and more declarative than 90% of celebrity promo style, they’re still probably the most conventional and low-key looks she’s worn all month.

Can’t say we’re in love with the hairstyle, but we’re living for that gorgeous coat paired with those pumps. As for the dress, Sarah’s girlfriend Holland Taylor helpfully provided us with a closer look:

It’s definitely a fun shape and style, but we can’t help thinking the washed-out beige of the dress works against all its exuberance.

LOVELOVELOVE that coat! Which kind of surprises us because we’ve been sick and tired of black-backed florals for a long time now, but this is really chic and striking. As for the underneath-look:

Oof. Credit for the badassedness of a leather skirt AND blouse, but the color’s kind of awful and we don’t think the top half works all that well.
