“Star Trek: Discovery” Star Sonequa Martin-Green Serves Up Some Coat Porn at “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”

Darlings, it’s been so awards-season heavy around these parts lately that we seem to have neglected one of our oldest T Lo winter traditions: Calling out the gorgeous outerwear sported by our favorite stars. We are deeply excited by the return of what looks like a very energized second season of Star Trek: Discovery and almost as excited (not really but it made a serviceable segue) by Miss Sonequa’s gorgeous Kate Spade coat:

That coat could look mumsy on a different person or with a different outfit, but she’s making it look fresh and classic at the same time. LOVE those earrings, but we’re not sure they go with the outfit all that well. They’re begging for a strapless gown. We’ll never understand naked sandals in New York in January but celebrities are apparently a more advanced form of human.
