She’s wearing Princess Diana’s bracelet, which is lovely of course, but it sent the professional royal fashion-watchers off on an instant madcap search to find literally any sequined dress Diana wore and claim that Meghan was emulating or paying homage to her. We read a report this morning that actually complimented Meghan on all the “research” they claim she was doing on the matter. If Kate and Meghan spent even a small fraction of the time the royal press assumes they do poring over their dead mother-in-law’s 30-year-old fashion choices, it would be kind of weird and dysfunctional. Let these women be who they are, not some sort of royal celebrity impressionists.

Anyway, Megs looks great here. Harry dresses like a mid-level executive. We’ll say this about Charles: his style may be a bit too locked into place and old-fashioned, but the man never passed by fine British suiting.
