A veritable parade of colorful, holiday-ready stars hit the red carpet this week, darlings! These are the ones we weren’t interested in covering!
Adam Lambert
Oof. Honey, no. We’re all for more color on the red carpet -especially in menswear. But the high-waisted fuchsia pants paired with the high-heeled blue boots and indigo shirt – it’s a lot, Adam.
Allen Leech
He’s looking good, but a tieless brown shirt with a black double-breasted suit makes no kind of sense.
Amanda Seyfried in Givenchy
Meh. It’s alright. Looks like something a Project Runway contestant put together as their fourth option when the first three didn’t work out.
Amber Heard
Can’t say she doesn’t know what works for her. It’s not very original, but it looks pretty great.
AnnaSophia Robb in Rachel Antonoff
That’s a super-cute dress and a kind-of cute coat, fighting with each other for dominance. Also, there’s a pair of boots in the mix but we’ve decided not to see them.
Armie Hammer
Resting on pretty.
Billy Eichner
The stubble is horrifying. Billy, you’re cute, funny, and you dress pretty okay, but that grooming sitch is the exact opposite of photogenic.
Dascha Polanco
Considering some of the flaming tackiness she’s paraded on the world’s red carpets, this isn’t all that bad. Too tight, shiny and low-cut, but that’s not exactly unusual on a red carpet.
Diane Lane
Hair and makeup look great, but it gets more and more disappointing as you scroll down. Lady, you could be fashioning so much better than this.
Emma Roberts in Markarian
Why Miss Emma. You nailed this one. Almost. It’s a perfect holiday party kind of look. And since we’re post-Halloween, that doesn’t seem so off-season anymore.
Jane Fonda
It seems to us that Miss Jane has tamed and relaxed her public style a bit in this last year. It all seems a bit easier on her now. She looks great – and we love the softness of that hairstyle for her.
Laura Carmichael
Lady Edith, getting a little badass. It’s a cute look for her.
Maggie Gyllenhaal in Nina Ricci
We hate the colors and the graphics, but the style and shape couldn’t be more perfect for her.
Natasha Lyonne
We have never even come close to liking any of her red carpet jawns, but we LOVE this. It’s a little silly and exuberant, but it suits her.
Rita Ora in Paula Knorr
Girl, we guess so…
Sarah Hyland in Lela Rose
Cute enough dress. We normally hate body-bows, but since we praised two looks in this list that sported them, we feel dutybound to let her have this one. The shoes, on the other hand, need to be backed over with a truck and then burned.
Uzo Aduba
Love the hair and the dress is a great shape and color for her, but how on earth did anyone come to the conclusion that crotch-ruching should be a thing?
