WERQ: Diane Kruger in Jason Wu

We were going to do this as an “In or Out” but like bratty little kids with a favorite toy, we snatched up Diane Kruger, clutched her to our chests and said “MINE MINE MINE! You can’t have this one!”

Figuratively speaking, of course.

PinWe don’t like when a person steps out in “head to toe” anything, and we really don’t like it when they mimic the designer’s styling by pairing the pieces exactly as the model wore them (at least there’s some variation with the shoes), but we’re going to have to throw our rules out the window for this one because she looks freaking FABULOUS. Love the shoes; ambivalent about the clutch and hair, but J’ADORE the look as a whole. In fact, looking fabulous is only partially the reason for awarding her the much-coveted WERQ. It’s also because she’s walking that red astroturf carpet looking totally original (at least for a red carpet). Any gal who can break free of the goddess-gowns-or-cocktail-dresses restrictions of the red carpet and do it looking so chic deserves as many snaps up as two queen can manage. Girl, you WERQ that 21st Century Dietrich shit!

But sweetie, stop arching your back for pictures. That works in a dress, but not in a menswear-inspired look.
