In or Out: Lucy Liu in Antonio Berardi

Posted on May 25, 2011

Lucy is making the rounds, poledancing for her little panda movie and giving us dresses to talk about. Put your bitchpants on, ladies. We’ve got work to do.

PinLucy Liu attends the New York premiere of “Kung Fu Panda 2” in an Antonio Berardi dress paired with a Roger Vivier clutch and Casadei shoes.

Hmm. It’s sharp, we’ll give it that. But it’s also a little space waitress. We’re not sure that plunging neckline really works on such a stiff little maid’s uniform. But when we step back, it feels like more than the sum of its parts. We love the little cap sleeves and the inverted lapels. We hate the skirt, though. Just like the Marchesa dress she wore the other day, this full, short skirt seems a little too girly for her. That exact same top with a more fitted skirt would have looked fierce. The shoes are fab but we hate the bag. Hair and makeup look good and the earrings are pretty and nicely understated, considering how showy the dress and shoes are.

VOTE NOW!

IN! She’s serving up sharpness and fierceness!

OUT! It looks like a pilgrim’s ice skating costume!

Minion Opinion on Katie Holmes’ sister-wife bridesmaid dress was a near-unanimous O to the UT.
