The celebrity sidewalk parade o’ fashion continues, darlings. Feel the love.

10. Dakota Fanning in Miu Miu

Hey, we’re just as shocked as you are that Dakota wound up on any sort of style list, let alone a street style one. The girl has her charms, but she’s made it clear that “head-turning style” has never been, and is likely never to be, one of her top priorities. So imagine our surprise when she strutted out looking like a montage in a rom-com. Sure, the hair’s a mess, but the outfit’s adorable.

It’s just a bit too thought-out and styled for our tastes, since we like our celebrity street fashion to either pretend to be spontaneous (Witherspoon) or openly embrace the sheer dishonesty and staginess of the situation (Swift). But even though it gives the whiff of being curated by committee, we can’t help but love this look for her. From the deer faces to the depressed-girl sweater to the combat boots, it’s a total head-to-toe.

And speaking of dishonesty and staginess…

We surprised ourselves by picking this look over other Tay sidewalk looks, but some of her street ensembles, while entertaining, tipped way too far over into Pretend Princess territory. Fun to make fun of but not particularly stylish; not really. Granted, we HATE the green accessories, but overall, this is a fun and funky, “Carrie Bradshaw circa 1998” kind of NYC street look.
