We always say that the style rules are different for pop stars, who have to sell a consistent image of themselves, one that usually comes with distinct style signifiers. In other words, unlike actors, pop stars are supposed to have a look. And that look is almost never concerned with traditional or conservative ideas of elegance and comportment. Loud, tacky, sexy and occasionally downright vulgar constitute the style brief. Doja Cat, that’s your cue.

We’d be telling most actresses to pick something a little longer for a sit-down, but she doesn’t seem particularly stressed about the lack of coverage, so if she’s good with it, more power to her. It’s not the skimpiness that bugs so much as the poor fit and the unattractive color. The frames and the earrings are really fun, though.
