Now see, this? This is real style:
Bill Murray attends the “St. Vincent” New York Premiere at Ziegfeld Theater in New York City.
And we give him all the credit in the world for going there. No, really.
Okay, fine. If we’re being truly technical about it, almost nothing he’s wearing truly goes with anything else he’s wearing; not really. But it’s such an overall look, you know? And it doesn’t feel like something he had imposed on him. It’s Bill Murray-style, slightly upscaled for the red carpet. He had an idea about how he wanted to look and he put the effort in. It’s fun; it’s expressive; it’s true to who he is, and it’s something that’ll make anyone’s head turn without being clownish about it. Well, not too clownish. It’s Aging Hipster Clown Chic. And what is Bill Murray if not an aging hipster clown?
This man seriously wants an Oscar, so we suspect this is the opening move in a poledance like he’s never poledanced before.
