After several sad years of watching her sport incredibly awkward Chanel looks that felt way too precious and incredibly ill-considered at this stage in her career, we are thrilled to see Honey Don’t! star Margaret Qualley embrace the simple, classic style that she always should have been working; a style that can be summed up very succinctly:
“Look at my amazing set of legs.” That’s it. That’s literally all she needs to be doing at the moment. Not that we’re suggesting she should objectify herself or only wear skimpy outfits. She should, of course, dress in whatever manner that gives her confidence and comfort. But she’s a dancer, with a dancer’s body, and if there’s one thing we know about dancers with dancers’ bodies, it’s that they’re never particularly shy about that fact. In other words, we always knew she’d be comfortable in teeny little dresses, just as we always knew she’d look great in them, so why not work that tool as an actress while it’s still the strongest one in your toolbox? To be fair, it’s a bit too short when she sits down, but she doesn’t seem to be uncomfortable with it. As a design, it’s pretty basic, but like we said, it’s all she needs. Personally, we might have rec’d a bit more in the jewelry department, if only because the dress looks kind of flimsy and could use some help, but again, the legs are the point here. Bigger earrings might have made us happier, but they wouldn’t have changed a thing about what kind of impact she’s going for.
