In a way, we feel pretty bad about subjecting Katy’s efforts here to a vote. We know how we feel about this look, but we figure it might be good to throw you guys a curveball every now and then. And we use that unlikely sports analogy for a reason. Girlfriend served up serious curves. Just not that kind you might have expected:
And lo, did twitter light up with enough toilet paper cozy doll pictures to fill the skies with a heavenly chorus. Look, we get it. This is a whole lot. But we’d argue that’s entirely the point of it and this is exactly the place for it. We’ve always said that Katy’s style sweet spot is the part of the Venn diagram where fashion and cartoons overlap. This is exactly right for her; from color to concept to shape. And we think the styling is dead-on. There honestly isn’t one thing we’d change about this. We think it’s one of her best looks in years.
But oh, how we suspect opinions will differ on the matter. Let’s hear them, darlings:
