The ladystars were out in force at the Filming Italy Festival and the looks got a little dicey. Let’s assess.
Ashley Greene in Norma Kamali
What a weird outfit for high summer.
Fran Drescher in Dolce & Gabbana
Lady, you had us until we got to the shoes. In truth, we don’t love this print, and we’re opposed to sporting the same print across multiple garments at the same time, but we could have been convinced on this one for having a sort of Fran Fine-esque exuberance to it. But first, that blouse looks goofy with the dress. She’d have been better off working more of a jacket, because the popped collar and cuffed sleeves only make the look feel sloppy and discordant.
Heather Graham
It’s amazing to us that someone would look at this dress and think “Yes, that’s what I want to wear when I pose for pictures.” It’s hideously unphotogenic.
Nathalie Emmanuel
If the jacket were well fitted and the pants didn’t have that embarrassing bedazzling, this would be perfectly acceptable, although we’d find it an odd choice for an Italian film festival in June.
Pom Klementieff
That’s how you do it. We don’t even like this outfit – the floral is harsh and ugly and the proportions are downright silly – but if you can’t be a little exuberant or indulge in a little bit of that dolce vita while on an Italian film festival red carpet at high summer, then what’s the point of them?
