When you are a Queen and you are also hosting the American Music Awards, then you must arrive in a coat fit for royalty of your level.

Even if it’s not exactly fit for Las Vegas in late May. And sure, we have no doubt that this coat never saw the light of day anywhere where the air conditioning wasn’t going full blast for her majesty, but it still looks exceedingly odd to be wearing something this heavy – both literally and in a visual sense – in one of the hottest locations in the country at the kickoff weekend for summer. It it was delivering some sort of high drama regal moment we could understand the temptation to wear it, but let’s face it: it’s giving “dirty bathrobe.” She looks stunning, but her outfit is the opposite of that. And the leather panel is just weird.
