Frankenstein star Jacob Elordi has settled into a fairly specific look for awards season: refined sleaze. He stopped by the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards and the Critics Choice Awards working a salt-and-pepper variation on the style, which consists of impeccably fitted suits paired with a mullet and pornstache.

While we might find such neutrally monochromatic looks deadly dull on most wearers, the fact remains that a really tall guy just doesn’t have to work that hard to look memorable. The suits are gorgeous and the head styling is hot. But we’re afraid there’s one glaring flaw here and it tends to make our eyelids twitch. If you’re going to go to the trouble of ensuring your suits are this impeccable, why would you haul out a pair of shoes that looks like you’ve worn them a hundred time already? We need fresh-from-the-box footwear here, Jacob.
