The massive cast of People We Meet on Vacation turned out for the LA premiere.

And while we’d like to commend all of them for putting the work in (more or less), some of the style choices were a little odd.
Madeleine Akua

She looks like she spilled wine all over her slip and then inexplicably chose to put a pair of boots on. Putting aside the diceyness of that dress, there’s no way in hell that footwear was a good idea.
Catherine Hook in David Koma

It’s kind of cute and she’s well suited to it, but it feels a bit understyled. It’s not that an outfit like this calls for a ton of makeup and jewelry, but it comes off like she just threw it on. The shoes don’t really go.
Lukas Gage

It’s fine. Can’t get mad at it. Could’ve used a better hem job. We tend toward the idea that if you’re going to go tieless in a suit, the dress shirt shouldn’t be white.
Molly Shannon

The outfit’s kind of basic, but the hair and makeup look great.
Brett Haley

Decent suit, but the white kicks look extremely dated with it.
Tom Blyth

Sorry to their fans, but we’re always going to think those translucent shades make the wearer look douchey. This is fine and it tends to support our point that tieless is better if the shirt is colorful or has a print.
Emily Bader in David Koma

You can pose as hard as you want, but it’s not gonna make this dress look any less stupid. That bodice design is hateful.
Jameela Jamil

Why is everyone dressed for July at this thing? We realize it’s not bitter cold in LA, but all of these outfits look weirdly off season. Anyway, the dress is nice enough, but we dislike she shoe color.
Emily Henry

Cute. No notes.
Miles Heizer

What a weird choice. The styles are all over the map at this thing but we wouldn’t claim it’s an event that requires a more formal approach. It’s not that this isn’t dressy enough so much as it’s almost aggressively generic and unphotogenic. We suppose you could argue that he’s keeping all the interest on his face, but he looks like one of the photographers who accidentally wandered onto the red carpet.
Tommy Do

Great suit in a great color with a terrible hem job.
Alan Ruck

It’s okay, but it doesn’t fit him all that well.
