We feel like we’ve written some variation on “Jenna Ortega has ditched the goth” on the last ten posts about her, so instead, we’ll note that the Wednesday star worked a classic screen siren gown at the Marrakech International Film Festival with just a hint of gothiness to it. See if you can spot it.

Okay, yes. We did make it easy for you. In this case, her goth tendencies might have led her down the wrong style path. That sash and chain are interesting elements, but they pretty much ruin the line of the dress. The whole point to a gown like this is that it’s sleek and reveals the body underneath by avoiding any elements that would distract from it. It doesn’t help that it’s so wrinkled or that white isn’t necessarily the best choice for her. Granted, if it were rendered in black, the sexy nun vibe would be inescapable. We’re afraid the only part of this look we like unreservedly are the jewelry choices.
