Blake Lively Attends the ‘Blake Brown and Stoney Clover’ Holiday Pop Up Event in Annina

Blake Lively shrugged off all of her legal drama and got herself dressed up in some holiday finery to sell you some shampoo. The It Ends With Us star headed to New York for a pop-up event for her haircare line Blake Brown. We are amused that she couldn’t even manage to put together a basic red-and-green Christmas outfit without getting it wrong.

You’d think this would be a no-brainer, especially since it’s a perfectly fine holiday dress. But it’s clearly too tight for her in the bodice and we find the “just add green jewelry” accessorizing a little basic. None of those pieces really go with the dress all that well. Given her approach to fashion and celebrity, we have to assume the brown pumps were an attempt at branding (note the brown bow behind her), but again, they just don’t go with the outfit. You can style up brown for the holidays, but it mostly requires adding a lot of gold touches to it. This approach is akin to how an eight-year-old would put an outfit together.
