Lupita Nyong’o took the easiest route possible in choosing and styling her look for the MoMA tribute to Sophia Coppola. She ripped it straight off the runway.
Chanel’s been putting out a succession of ass lately, so we’re feeling a bit kindly toward this look. It’s a little goofy, especially the collar and earrings, but something about the combination of ruffles, a t-shirt, and those wacky accessories comes off a little appealing. It helps that she’s the one making the attempt. Love the makeup. We’d have rec’d a showier pair of shoes.
