Red Carpet Rundown: ROBIN HOOD Los Angeles Premiere

Nobody wore green to the premiere of Robin Hood. You might think that would make us happy, since we tend to be annoyingly whiny about theme-dressing, but it’s not like we’re asking anyone to put a feather in their cap. Instead, the style choices were strangely muted, as if they were all promoting some seriously tragic murder-in-a-small-town drama.

Can’t say we’re loving that color for him, but it’s a nice suit and we appreciate that it’s not black, gray or navy blue. He looks like he got into a brief fistfight with one of the photographers.

Fine, but forgettable. Stars should really start with the assumption that most red carpets are black these days, along with their backdrops.

She looks good, but that’s a nothing of a frock. Great shoes, though.

Again: nice enough suit, but it doesn’t photograph well and it’s fairly generic.

Jack Patten

At least the lead knew enough to show up wearing something a little spiffy, with a little color and contrast to it. He looks like a studio executive, but at least he came correct. You couldn’t wear a green tie?

We are thankful for the color. That bow looks like a wreath that’s been stored under a bed for a year. The mismatched purples bug a little.
