Running Point star Brenda Song is making the promo rounds to promote the new season and it appears that she has settled on a single color for the task. Or mayvbe she’s just feeling kinda blue at the moment.

Yeah, we hate it. Sorry, Brenda. While we can see the appeal of that vertical ruching from the back, it just looks like an autopsy incision from the front. We don’t like the high neckline or the cap sleeves. It’s all bad, right down to the clodhopper heels.

This, on the other hand, is pretty cute. The textile looks hellaciously chintzy to our eyes, but the color is gorgeous on her and the style really works. The neckline is lovely and she’s well styled. Love the earrings and the sandals. It’s an appealing, eye-catching sort of look, which is exactly what you want for a talk show, so long as you can sit comfortably in it. She nailed this one.
