Abby Elliott in Wiederhoeft
We’re not totally in love with the t-shirt sleeves or the low-slung belt, but it’s a pretty great dress. The shoes do nothing for it.
Ann Dowd
Another lovely LBD, although the sash isn’t great. That style of kitten heel, with the long toe box, is an insanely bad choice if you’re going to match them to the wearer’s skin tone. Her feet look comically massive. Black ballet flats would’ve been fine.
Brittany Snow in Alex Perry
Fantastic dress. TERRIBLE shoe choice.
Chase Infiniti in Cong Tri
She looks gorgeous and we love the design, but that fringe needs to go. We’re seeing the return of the neutral pump and we’re going to be such assholes about it.

That’s a no on every level, mister. We like that his style is offbeat and that he doesn’t always go for traditional menswear, but this just isn’t a good look on him.
Derek Hough
Is it mean of us to say that this whole look just screams “I’m an asshole”? We’re not saying that he is one, just that if we saw any man in this outfit, we’d instantly assume things about his politics and personal life.

It’s a lovely, if simple dress. It desperately needs a pendant. Can’t say those sandals are doing much for it.
Eiza González in Proenza Schouler
Lady, you had us until we got to the hem. It’s not a dealbreaker, though. The color looks amazing on her.
Grace Gummer in Dries Van Noten
Girl, whut. The skirt is gorgeous and could be the start of a killer look, but generally Dries Van Noten is a tough sell on a red carpet. It’s never going to photograph well in these conditions and it takes a serious fashionista to pull off. This is too much for her to handle.
Grace Van Patten in Khaite
Love this. It’s sharp and unique and it really suits her.
Kat Dennings in Revolve x Stone Cold Fox
It’s fine. It gets the job done.
Paul Anthony Kelly in Loro Piana
It kind of amazes us that he’s a model, because he’s got negative swag in front of a camera. Nice outfit, but the shirt is too dark among all those light pieces.
Quinta Brunson in Rodarte
We’re not crazy about the print, because we tend to hate black-backed florals, but the style really suits her and our only real objection is to the lace panel, which adds nothing.
Sarah Pidgeon
This is sexy and has an edge that she could use in her style, but it has way too much shit hanging off it.
Shailene Woodley in Petar Petrov
She looks like the Soviet spy assigned to kill James Bond before they gave her the Bond Girl makeover.
Thomas Doherty in Paul Smith
There’s contrast, there’s color, there’s some rather aggressive grooming. We can’t hate.
Tyler James Williams
Your boyfriend’s here and he’s wearing way too much beige.
