Mason Thames and Mckenna Grace at the REGRETTING YOU Berlin Special Screening

Let’s be cranky and take part in America’s favorite pastime: yelling at the youths. Mason Thames and McKenna Grace, who are a couple as well as co-stars, came to the Berlin screening of their film Regretting You and we have to say, we’re not really feeling the need to do much yelling at them.

Over the last month, we’ve been cruelly forced to feature a veritable parade of Millennial and Gen X celebrity men who have all decided to default to plain black suits for promotional work. We’re getting tired of everyone showing up looking like they’re ready to deliver a eulogy. This kid gets it. If you’re posing for pictures to promote your work, you need to give the public something to look at, especially if you don’t yet have an iconically recognizable face. See, that’s why we tend to get annoyed with male stars who keep it plain: they’re resting on their stardom. Someone younger and hungrier innately knows that they still have to work at it — if they’re smart about it anyway. This is gorgeous and we love the deployment of the polka dots, which really brings it together.

At first glance, there’s nothing interesting about this look and it’s been seen a million times before. She’s a 19-year-old starlet, so we suppose a mini and crop top are something she needs to check off the list, so we’re inclined to give her a pass. Or at least, we were:
