On a night when the winners were discouraged from saying anything more than “Thank you,” Cristin Milioti, star of The Penguin opted to say “fuck that” instead and gave the best, most rousing speech of the night when she won for Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. She wore a bold, slightly unusual gown that fit her personality and allowed her to throw her hands in the air like she just don’t care. We wish we liked it more.

Color, construction and fit are all lovely. She’s clearly feeling herself at the moment, although that likely has more to do with the trophy in her hand. Still, it’s not the kind of gown that gets in a gal’s way and we tend to think that was the main criterion for picking it. We’re just not fans of that crumb-catcher style of bodice and we don’t think the flat hair was the way to go.
