Wednesday co-stars Emma Myers and Jenna Ortega had themselves quite the busy couple of days in Seoul as they attended various events to promote the new season. There was, we are happy to report, absolutely no slacking off in the serving of looks. On the contrary, each of them stepped up their already considerable game.
AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE
We would classify this look as thematically very appropriate, but also a bit ugly. To be fair, “a bit ugly” is also thematically appropriate, in a way. The skirt’s weird, but we kind of like it, especially with the witchy shoes. The top is hideous, but we get it. Our only real issue with it is the shape of the shoulders, which doesn’t work.
That’s just about the cutest “all Louis Vuitton logos” look we’ve ever seen. Love the shoes.
AT A FAN EVENT
Insane. Ugly. Kind of thematically correct but not really. The thing is, while dark and odd style choices fit the bill for this promo, that doesn’t mean any old weird black outfit is going to suffice. Someone hung a swag on a body suit and called it a skirt, but guess what? It’s not a skirt. It’s just some weird-ass thing making every eye go to her crotch. Possibly the first real disaster we’ve ever seen from her.
Nude linings only work on body-con dresses. On a floaty one like this, it just looks odd. It’s a pretty gown, but it needs a black lining.
AT PHOTO CALL
These are perfect. Jenna’s look is hot and Emma’s has that slightly off quality that’s been working for this promo tour. The print is kind of ugly and we hate the lace hem, but the look works really well in juxtaposition with Jenna’s.
