In the celebrity red carpet commentary game, goofy, over-the-top, super-cray looks are always going to get the most attention, to the point where a star stepping out in something low-key chic tends to represent something of a conundrum for bitchy commenters such as we. Isabelle Huppert came to the Angoulême Film Festival in something chic and simple, damn her.
Oh, we’re just teasing. She looks great. The pants are a little too shiny, we’re not convinced that the collarless top is the best choice, and she could definitely use a killer belt to tie the look together, but it’s all stylish and simple and takes a great picture. It gets the job done and she looks relaxed and unfussed.
