Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell put on outfits that don’t look like their style at all in order to join their The Madison co-stars at the Emmy FYC event.

What is this church lady, nonsense, Michelle? This isn’t your style at all. It’s also kind of an ugly print and we don’t like the black pumps with it at all.

It’s actually a pretty great look, but we don’t think we’ve ever seen him dressed like this before. In a way, we’re impressed that he avoided the kind of western wear you’d think this event called for.

Everything about this look — the hair, the dress, the shoes, the lack of jewelry — gives the impression that she doesn’t want to be there.

Well, it’s definitely not generic. We don’t think there’s any way to make that top work, but the skirt is pretty cute, although we have no idea how to style it except to suggest a plain white t-shirt. The shoes are fun, but we don’t think they go.

That is a man who knows he’s not likely to be considered for an Emmy ever again.
