The stars came out in their prestige fits for the Peabody Awards and some of them even managed to look good! Let’s break this down.
Amy Poehler
It’s a great dress and those sandals are really cute. She looks good and she knows it. We can’t say we’re loving the hair, though.
Ethan Hawke in Tecovas x H Bar C
We can’t say we like it, but we respect that he has his own style and consistently expresses it.
Halle Bailey in The New Arrivals
The bust is too tight and the combination of cutout and high peplum is incredibly awkward.
Ike Barinholtz
Dressed like an executive.
Karen Pittman
We hate fringe, but we can’t get mad at this. She looks great.
Karolina Wydra in Rhea Costa
It has a soft prettiness to it, although the volume gets a little out of hand. The black pumps would not have been our suggestion.
Mandy Moore in Rodarte
It’s okay, although we can’t help thinking that the top and bottom halves don’t look like they belong together.
Marcia Gay Harden in Adrianna Papell
A fun take on the lady tux, but we think sheer black tights would have been a great way to complete the look.
Michael Urie
A little too creamy.
Poppy Liu in Rachel Gilbert
Cute, but the hat comes off gimmicky.
Rhea Seehorn in Sportmax
We like it, but it feels like it’s missing something. We get that the minimalism is the point, but a cuff or a pendant would have done a lot.
Samba Schutte
He looks great, but we’re not convinced that shirt works with a conventional tux.
Yara Shahidi in Loewe
Feathery fringe. Our fashion nightmare. We’re afraid we’re going to have to get off at this stop, Yara.
