Thunderbolts star Julia Louis-Dreyfus followed up her super-glam late night talk show look with the perfect little sassy day dress for a morning chat show. Unforch, she illustrated why a certain old trend hasn’t swung back into popularity yet.
It’s the “pop of color” shoe. It instantly makes an outfit look a little dated to our eyes. It doesn’t help that these shoes are particularly focus-pulling and bright. We get that the thinking was to pick up the red from that one piece at the neckline, but honestly, we think that trim is kind of cheesy looking. It’s a shame, because the dress suits her really well, but that fake diamond trim needed to be toned way down. As for footwear, a standard pair of white pumps would’ve been our rec.
