Shadow Force stars Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Omar Sy, and Kerry Washington came to the premiere to serve looks. The movie looks kinda bad, but that’s no reason to slack off on the fashion, right? If anything, it’s time to pull out all the stops to sell this thing. These stars know what they’re doing.
He looks fantastic. We’ve been pretty bored with the whole trend for double-breasted suits worn with t-shirts, but the suit looks great on him (he clearly loves a roomy cut) and the t-shirt provides a rich contrast.
This kind of mid-sixties, Diahann Carroll-esque look is where her style sweet spot lies, although we think it’s smart of her not to go to this well too often, lest it come off like cosplay. We don’t love the color, but the style is so perfect for her it almost doesn’t matter. The hair’s still looking a bit wonky to us.
We love that she’s starting to go hard with her fashion. No need to keep up the grande dame looks if you’re not gunning for an Oscar, right? While this strikes us as way too much for the first week in May, we can’t get mad at it because we love to see her getting more adventurous with her choices.
