Ballerina star Ana de Armas came to The Tonight Show to promote the film, but she sure didn’t come dressed like your average action star.

We’re kind of starting to miss the days when stars wore cute cocktail dresses or other forms of semi-casualness. It’s a gorgeous gown, but we honestly think it looks a little silly plopped down onto a lobby side chair. This is so clearly a dress for standing, posing and strutting that it just looks like a total wasted opportunity here. It clearly isn’t meant for sitting which is indicated by her arm position in every shot. Sure, she looks gorgeous, and it would be hard for you to tear your eyes away from her, but she can accomplish all of that in a much simpler look. Still, we should at least be grateful she’s not doing any cosplay. The urge to sport a tutu must be powerful.
