While it might seem like the promo tour that never ends, the runup to the release of Snow White hasn’t been nearly as intense as the one for Wicked, although we think Disney is trying mightily to make it seem so, even if the co-stars don’t like each other and the film is controversial. To that end, star Rachel Zegler can’t stop, won’t stop serving looks and making appearances.

Can you guess what we’re going to say? It’s not about the color. Believe it or not, we think these neutral shades look pretty great on her and make a nice change of pace from all of the primary-colored fashion she’s been sporting. The jacket is gorgeous and we like the sweater but dear God, do we ever hate that skirt. Flimsy and wrinkled, in a shade that works against the other neutrals, it simply doesn’t belong with any of the other pieces and her whole lower half looks like it’s cold.

Well, she kept it subtle, which we appreciate, but we predicted she’d be stepping out in something apple-related and we’re kind of happy to see it’s only an admittedly fabulous minaudiere. We like this look a lot. While we can understand why a literal Disney princess wouldn’t want to dress like this all the time for the publicity work, it’s nice to see her in something chic and modern. The color looks great on her. The top is barely more than a bib, however. And the pants definitely need a hemming.
