We’ve resigned ourselves to the idea that Wicked star Ariana Grande is likely to show up on Oscar night in something poofy and pink. We suppose the temptation is simply impossible to ignore once you play Glinda the Good Witch. But you know? Going by her SAG Awards gown, maybe extending this pink moment won’t be such a bad thing. Because this?
This is the prettiest pink gown she’s worn since she was singing in that bubble. It helps that it’s softly romantic and elegant instead of over-the-top and drag-inspired. There’s no sparkle here, no difficult-to-work elements or outrageous accessories; just a very pretty dress, perfectly styled. She’s got to get her team to stop contouring her hairline, however. They’re going way too heavy and she literally looks like she needs to wash her face.
