Long past time to start wrapping up our 2025 SAG Awards coverage, wouldn’t you say? Line up for judgment, stars.
Adjoa Andoh in Stella McCartney
It’s pretty and unusual, although it looks pretty flimsy. The shoes are totally wrong for it.
Ali Ahn in Ashi Studio Couture
The skirt and jacket are very elegant and understated – or they would be if she weren’t being attacked by pollen monsters at the moment.
Brooke Shields in Simon Miller
Can’t argue with that.
Danielle Deadwyler in Louis Vuitton
This is hilarious and we love how weird and quirky she can get with her style.
Gillian Anderson in Carolina Herrera
Pretty, if a little basic.
Isabella Rossellini in Dolce & Gabbana
This is the most conventional gown she’s worn in ages. It’s fine. A little too understated for our tastes. We like when she gets her wacky nonna on.
Jessica Gunning in Marchesa
Absolutely the best she’s ever looked on a red carpet.
Kaitlyn Dever in Elie Saab
It’s fine, but that peach color is awful on her.
Karen Pittman in Carolina Herrera
The shape and style suit her, although the fit is cutting in her back pretty terribly. We don’t love the color blocking. We’d like it more if the whole bodice we black.
Keri Russell in Zuhair Murad
Gets the job done elegantly, even if it is a bit of a snore.
Kristen Bell in Armani Privé
Gorgeous. We still don’t love tiered skirts, but this one is beautifully rendered and the colors look amazing on her.
Liza Colón-Zayas in Christian Siriano
Looks gorgeous, but we wouldn’t have rec’d the matchy accessories.
Michelle Yeoh in Armani Privé
Very pretty, alth0ugh we suspect the colors are more vibrant in person.
Millie Bobby Brown in Louis Vuitton
It’s beautifully draped and the color suits her, but it’s another in a long line of mature styles. She’s grown up enough that it’s no longer an issue, but just once, we’d like to see her in something youthful, trendy and fresh. We don’t love the blonde for her.
Molly Shannon in Cassidy Noonan
That’s… not a very pretty dress. The ruffles are terrible and the proportions are off.
Sasheer Zamata in Temperley London
She looks gorgeous, but we don’t think the design is all that much to get excited about. Those sleeves are terrible.
Selena Gomez in Celine
Personal Best. She never looked so flawless.
Sheryl Lee Ralph in Sergio Hudson
It’s the pearls that really make the look.
Zooey Deschanel in Giorgio Armani
A SUPER-twee take on the lady tux, on the one person most suited to work a super-twee lady tux.
