Toot-toot! All aboard the fabulous train! Conductor Janelle is here to punch your ticket. The star came to the Grammys to pay tribute to Quincy Jones, but she managed to deliver one hell of a serve on her way in the door.
Sure, the pants could use a hemming and it’s dumb to wear a watch over a sleeve and she probably had to stand a certain way all night to prevent a nip slip, but this is all working for us. We like the slouchy fit of the suit and all of the various jewelry elements. It plays with an over-the-top maximalism but it never fully commits to it. It’s exuberant and extra, but also restrained and relatively low-key. It’s pretty much the perfect style for her.
