We are so damn evolved, you guys. It’s really impressive how we’re able to change our opinion on something and admit that our past selves were mistaken. It’s probably our greatest quality, along with humility. If you’ve read us for any length of time, then you might already know what we’re referring to here. Ninety-nine percent of the time, whenever someone stepped onto a formal red carpet in a brown gown or suit in the last fifteen years, we wrinkled our noses and called it a bad idea. But brown is a trendy color in fashion again – the trendiest we’ve seen it in decades, probably – and quite a few stars have stepped out in earth-toned ensembles that we had to begrudgingly admit worked pretty well. But no more begrudging here. We’re believers. The design is not exactly outside the box, but the color is what makes this ensemble look so rich, flattering, and eye-catching. She’s always been only so-so on the fashion stuff, in our observation, so this might be the best thing she’s ever worn. Girlfriend is campaigning.
