The Fire Inside is a true story about a female boxer and for the premiere, star Ryan Destiny joined her co-star Brian Tyree Henry while she very wisely undertook that solid old Hollywood tradition known as, “I play a tough athlete who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup in this one so I’m going to show up in the most drop-dead gown you every saw in your life.”
That’s just gorgeous on her. Love that cherry shade of red for her. The draping is beautiful, although if we’re being honest, we think it gets a little heavy at times. That shoulder is too thick and we don’t love the melting boobsleeve. Even so, she looks elegant and chic here. The beat is beautiful. She’s got her jewelry at just about the right level, but instead of cocktail rings, we’d have rec’d bigger, showier earrings. He looks cute. We wish he’d adjust the fit on his suits, because they’re never quite right. The jewelry is fine, but we hate the shirt.
