Olivia Wilde stopped by the Tribeca Film Festival’s Chanel-hosted Women’s Filmmaker Program Luncheon in New York. She opted to get VERY tweedy for the occasion, as one does when one is invited to a Chanel-hosted luncheon, we presume.
This inspires the question of just how much tweed is too much tweed? While we don’t think the weather in New York of late would require so much heavy coverage, we have to admit that we think this look is pretty sharp. We don’t mind the mismatched tweeds at all. The jacket is about as conventional as Chanel gets, so the pants serve as a bit of a pleasant surprise. Our only real issue with the look is that it’s too matchy. We could’ve done without the salmon bag or the pink top.
