Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue their tour of Colombia and her style choices continue to vary widely in quality and cohesiveness. Let’s assess!

It was a music-heavy leg of their trip, complete with singing, dancing and drum-playing. The Sussexes stopped by Escuela Tambores de Cabildo, where they got a lesson in drumming techniques. The dress is very cute. It’s the second one she’s worn on this trip by Colombian born designer Johanna Ortiz. Personally, we’d have waved her away from brown sandals and into black ones, but if that’s the only quibble we have, you can count this look as a triumph.

Next, they visited Unidad Recreativa El Vallado, a youth organization. The hat and the earrings are great. It’s an okay day look, but the skirt looks flimsy and the whites mismatch, as they tend to do when she tries to pair them.

The Duke and Duchess attended a women’s empowerment forum with Vice President Marquez. Once again, we encounter the Meghan-specific style issue of pairing one really great item with a bunch of bland or awkward choices that do nothing for it. The skirt is by Colombian designer Sylvia Tcherassi (we suspect Megs is being smarter about her choice of designer this time around after being criticized for dressing inappropriately in Nigeria) and it’s gorgeous. The very last thing that should be paired with it is a plain white top. A black one would’ve made it sing. It doesn’t help that the top is too tight on her and she appears to be wearing a black bra underneath. Meghan, you live in California, where most of the best celebrity stylists in the world also live. There is simply no reason for you to be getting details like this so wrong. The shoe color has nothing to do with the rest of the outfit.

They also attended the Petronia Alvarez music festival where she wore this gorgeous dress by Colombian designer Andres Otalora. Given how much we’ve begged Meghan to wear color and print in her public engagements, you will not be surprised to hear that we love this for her. She looks fantastic.
