D23 2024: Miley Cyrus in Alexander McQueen: IN or OUT?

Miley Cyrus was honored as the youngest-ever recipient of the prestigious (to Disney executives) Disney Legend award at D23 this weekend. Congratulations to her for reaching this milestone in her life and career. Let’s judge what she wore for the occasion.

It’s almost shockingly low-key for her, but she’s always been the kind of gal who knows upon which side her bread is buttered (so to speak), which means she knew, as the former Hannah Montana, that showing up all “hot pop star” wasn’t going to fly with this crowd. The suit is classic and subsequently unimpeachable, which means the only things worth talking about is the hairstyle and that weird arm thingie. As to the former, the bob looks really cute on her, although it comes off a little businesslike paired with the suit. Maybe that’s intentional. As for the aforementioned thingie, it doesn’t bother us. Sure, it looks a little like some sort of medical device, but it adds some edge and modernity to what could have been a forgettable look. All of this works for us, given the setting. How about you?
